Some highlights of the 150^th anniversary commemoration are:

1. Commemoration Inauguration ceremony.
2. Launching of a commemoration “First Day Cover”
3. The “Cricket Charity Dinner” proceeds of which will go to donate cricketing equipment to to rural schools and donation of medical equipment to the SL Army hospital in respect of the founding fathers of the club, members of the Ceylon Rifle tournament.
4. Launching of a “Coffee Table Book” and a CMCC Cricket Trust fund raiser to raise funds for the further development of CMCC Cricket.
